First of all, you need to discover what color will match best your skin tone: for example, light-skinned people don't look good with very dark hair, as these wash color out of their skin.
After you've discovered that, you should carefully consider what type of hair coloring you want. |
There are loads of different products you can use to get a new haircolor: Permanent hair dyes are mixed with different amounts of hydrogen peroxide to color your hair permanently and lighten your natural tone by up to levels. Semi permanents can last up to 8 washes - as these contain no ammonia or peroxide, can't lighten your hair and will fade gradually with no visible root regrowth. Temporary hair dyes are the wash-in wash-out colorants, but these also won't lighten your hair and the color will fade with every shampooing and last up to 4 washes. |
