Spring 2009 Hairstyle Updo Trends

No season is complete without a must-have updo and those in the know will be swapping their ponytails for buns this spring.
From neat, roughed-up, or glossy ballerina buns worn at the nape of the neck to slick creations secured high on the head - plenty of styles to choose from.

To achieve anything other that a teeny tiny bun, hair needs to fall to the shoulders or longer. Remember not to wash your hair prior to styling - day-old hair will have more 'grip' and be less flyaway that super-clean tresses.
