Hairstyle trends change every year and it seems that these changes are bringing only good changes, changes meant to bring versatility to the hairstyles. 2010 hairstyle trends say that versatile cuts are in. Women need versatility when it comes to their hairstyles because the more styling options available, the more women will want to discover new styling options.
Creating different looking hairstyles as often as possible can only come to your advantage as you won't be entering a routine when it comes to your hair, and you will be able to surprise everyone with different hairstyles as often as you wish. 2010 hairstyles trends are all about variety. From short to long, straight to curly, all hairstyles are meant to create a lovely feminine look. 2010 seems to be a year in which femininity takes the leading role and this is a great thing.
When you choose the right hairstyle for 2010, make sure you choose your hairstyle according to your face shape, hair type as well as facial features.
Short hairstyles
Short hairstyles have been very popular in 2009 and they are maintaining their popularity in 2010 as well. Short hairstyles create a very modern and youthful look which acts like a magnet. Because of the various cutting techniques available, short hairstyles offer versatility when it comes to hairstyling.
Side swept bangs are a great option for short hairstyles, so if you can pull them off, don't hesitate to create them. They are low maintenance hairstyles which can create a stylish look, so no wonder they are so appreciated.
Short hairstyles work beautifully with oval face shapes, pointy chins and well defined facial features. Short hairstyles reveal and enhance the facial features, so they are perfect for women with very feminine facial characteristics.

Showing 1 - 1 of 1 commentsWho is writing this article? Very very very misleading. And IMO completely inaccurate. Seriously where was this information gathered? Was there any sort of fact checking?
I really get miffed when people do this sort of thing as it really affects those of us who are actually in the profession.
Shame on the people who spew out terms and supposed trends with little or no knowledge of the art or trends or terms.
Seriously I'm going to have to take this article apart piece by piece this is tres horibblè....
This is the tripe that causes unsuspecting well intentioned clients come sit in our chairs and ask for things they don't actually want; all because some yahoo has decided to inaccurately describe a cut or trend or uses the wrong term to describe a style or technique.
Of course a good stylist will do a proper consultation and will eventually figure out what the client is actually wanting, it of course will be off to a bad start though because you'll have people comming in wanting a page boy style bob but they will be asking for a versitile medium length cut.
Very uncool.
I'm pulling it apart, reposting to my blog and will comment with a link to blog.
BUT TO BE ON SAFE SIDE PLEASE DON'T USE THIS ARTICLE TO DETERMINE ANY HAIR RELATED ISSUE.
